With us, you can enjoy your summer accommodation in a turn-of-the-century environment, surrounded by the tranquility of the lush Stadspark.

At STF Villa Eira Hostel you will find charming and personally decorated rooms that pay tribute to the city’s rich history.
Several of our rooms are inspired by historical figures from the area, such as Estrid Ericson, the sole founder of Svenskt Tenn, and reflect the city’s cultural heritage with older furniture and period wallpaper.
Many of our rooms also offer a private balcony with beautiful views of Lake Vättern.
We also welcome four-legged family members in our three dedicated dog rooms.

The hostel offers everything from double rooms to spacious family rooms, all carefully decorated with furniture reflecting turn-of-the-century aesthetics.
Guests have access to a shared kitchen and common room, perfect for socializing.
With its central location, the hostel is an ideal base for exploring Hjo.
A short walk away you will find both the waters of Lake Vättern and local restaurants.
Villa Eira is also proudly Green Key labeled, which means that we work actively for sustainability according to Agenda 2030.

At Villa Eira we offer a unique accommodation experience where historical charm meets modern comfort in the heart of Hjo.
Each room has its own unique character, designed to give our guests a memorable stay.

Room types and capacities:
- Twin room: Ideal for couples or single travelers.
- Family rooms: Available in different sizes, small for smaller families and large for larger families or groups.
- Estrid Ericson Rooms: These rooms offer additional amenities such as pre-booked sheets and towels, made and ready when you arrive.
- Six-bed room: Ideal for larger groups who wish to stay together.
- Dog rooms: We offer special rooms for guests with dogs, which have direct access to the outdoors for walking.
- Extra beds and travel cots for children: Available for rent to ensure comfort for all ages and needs.
Interior design details:
- All rooms are decorated with period furniture and wallpapers that harmonize with the historical character of Villa Eira.
- Several of our rooms are dedicated to a famous person with a connection to Hjo and are decorated to reflect the person’s era and influence.
  A display cabinet in each room provides interesting information about the historical personality.
- Many rooms have preserved tiled stoves from the house’s original construction in 1892, adding to the historic atmosphere.
- The majority of rooms offer balconies with views of Lake Vättern or the City Park.
Amenities and Facilities:
- Washbasins are available in all rooms.
- Communal toilets and showers on each floor.
- A well-equipped guest kitchen and cozy living room are available for all guests, complete with games and books.
- Free WiFi available in all rooms and common areas.
- Sheets and towels can be rented.
  Sleeping bags are allowed in combination with fitted sheets and pillowcases.
- Departure cleaning is included in the price to ensure a hassle-free departure.

Are you planning a larger event such as a conference, family reunion or school trip for more than 10 people?

For larger events such as family reunions, birthdays or camps, we offer the possibility to rent the entire property.
This includes 42 beds divided into 12 rooms, access to the guest kitchen and living room, as well as the veranda with seating.
Barbecue areas and activities are available at the lake.
